My Story
I was born in Venezuela and I grew up with dogs all my life. I remember there was this very aggressive dog that my father brought home. He was a chow and he was aggressive to everyone. I decided that I wanted to work with the dog to remedy this so that everyone could be in the home together without fear of the dog. I sat in front of the dog as he barked and barked. We stared at each other for two days. I threw a piece of bread by him and he wouldn't take it. I did this for two days and still no response. By the third day he started smelling the bread and by the fifth day, he was eating it from my hand. Through patience and persistence, finally I gained the dog's trust and was able to train him. He became my best companion and guard dog; never leaving my side. I've been told by many that I have a natural ability to communicate and work with animals, both intuitively and through precise discipline to achieve the desired behavior. My process is to first intuitively connect to the dog by studying their body language, emotional state of being, and their character/breed. I gain the trust of the dog and then insight into what motivates them and what needs to be redirected. Your dog should be the kind of dog that you want to have and they should compliment your life not hinder it. This is my philosophy of dog training.
